Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

Let’s continue to “Adventure with God” and “Value Others”. God has called us for this moment in time to STRIVE with him and with one another. We are excited about the calling we have here at The BereanWay. We just completed our 2nd Leadership Training session (see below). As we STRIVE into May and June, we have some great opportunities to have things in common as we serve together, grow together, share with one another (Acts 4:32-37) the things the Lord God is doing through our ministry and in our lives.

Just a snapshot or two from our most recent Ministry Leadership Training session.
Here are a few take aways from today’s training session:
Gratitude: “Pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” I Thess. 5:17-18 Praise to God is the fruit of gratitude to God, it recalibrates in us to the reality of God’s sovereign control over all and it positions us to go deeper with the Lord. Gratitude is demonstrated in:
Affirmation – encourage those you serve with
Admiration – respect and approve the work of those your serve
Appreciation – edify and lift up other in the ministry
Action – do it with gratitude
Forgiveness – “*And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”Eph. 4:32. is a conscience deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person we serve with who has harmed us regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness. On the contrary, the sin of unforgiveness:
builds high and wide walls of isolation
leaves us separated from Christ’s cleansing
erodes away at the peace, joy and contentment we could be experiencing
Encouragement – “Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” I Thess. 5:11 Encouragement is contagious, it goes a long way in building up those we serve with. Encouragement is seen as:
Perserverance – longsuffering
Faith – trusting God
Hope – when things seem to be impossible
Gratitude – being thankful for the opportunities we have to serve
Joy – having fun in our service
Kindness –
Faithfulness – “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Col. 3:16
Other things Leaders consider:
Humility – Christ our example, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Phil. 2:8
Love – love without hypocrisy, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”I Cor. 13:4-8
Accountability – “that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.” I Thess. 4:6
Join us this Sunday as we continue on our journey in the scriptures in Sunday School LIVE! So far, we’ve traveled to explore the Men, Women, Children, Couples and others in the bible. This month we will be venturing through “The Promises in the Bible“.
A promise is a promise if you have the ability to see it will come to pass. But only God is able to control all aspects of a promise like the one to come back and receive us as believers unto himself (ref I Thess. 4:16-18). But are there any biblical promises that apply to us personally? Join us this Sunday for Sunday School LIVE! Promises in the Bible and we will find out as we Adventure with God.

Are we still in the S.T.R.I.V.E. in 2025? Yes, we are. This race is not given to the swift or the strong, but it’s a race for the one who faithfully endures (Eccl. 9:11). It’s a S.T.R.I.V.E. to maintain in the way of Sound Doctrine. It is a S.T.R.I.V.E. to Value Others. It is a S.T.R.I.V.E. So just as the Lord told and commanded Joshua after the death of Moses and as they were to STRIVE on, he says to us “be strong and of good courage (Josh 1:9).

AS the month of April comes to a close, we’d like to invite you to join us in fellowship and worship this Sunday morning. As we see the Day of the Lord approaching, we are admonished, encouraged and challenged not to have the mindset of forsaking gathering together as some others have (Heb. 10:24-25). Gathering together with saints of like faith is in line with the faithful obedience of God’s word. It allows opportunities of service and sharing with others that the name of the Lord not be blasphemed. But on the contrary, it is detrimental to our obedience and maturing before our God-given leadership (Heb. 13:17).
