Sunday’s Coming, Let’s Gather Together

But why gather? Gathering as collective body of believers of like-faith is…

biblical. It is of the utmost, encouraging, edifying and we are exhorted to meet as regularly as we are able. The writer of Hebrews reminds us of this truth with these words, “… let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Heb. 10:24-25

Gathering together allows us to “Adventure with God” with other brothers and sisters so we can together strengthen each other through God’s witness of his faithfulness, his love, his protections and provision. Just as in Acts 4, the early believers were “Educated and Equipped for the Work of the Ministry”, they “Evangelized with the Gospel”, they Reached Up and Reached Out” to serve others in the community (v 32-37, 17:11).

Its time to gather – “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1
