Paul wrote, “I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” 1 Cor. 9:22a. The Lord wants us to be actively engaged in reaching out to the community we have been placed. We’re not in Ephesus or Galatia but in Portsmouth and here is where we are to serve. “Evangelizing with the Gospel” is our calling, commission and vision (Rom. 8:28, Matt 28:19-20 and Phi. 2:12).

While living and serving in this world, we accept we are not from this world. We take this opportunity to “reach up” to the Lord for wisdom on how to “reach out” to our community’s needs. Thank you for being available to minister Christ to the community and know that your labor is not in vain for the Lord.
