God’s order for the local New Testament church is have it lead or overseen by a Leader. This leader is to care for the members and their spiritual welfare. He is to be the person to who the Lord will come to and receive an account for of the members. He is given to the church to shepherd them watch out for them, protect them, pray for them and lead them in the things of God. He is a gift (Eph 4:11-14) to the Church.

Every October, we encourage you give thanks to God’s gift to your local assembly. Celebrate as if you would on any other special day. This special gift has been given to you for the reasons contained in the scriptures.  Let them know that you appreciate, support them and are pray for them to continue on in the faithful calling as Pastor/Clergy.
